**Contract Opportunity | 6 month term | ASAP start | WFH Flexibility | Government Contract**

Information Services delivers Corporate Information Technology, Facilities and Procurement services to this specific government agency and is the focal point for building out key technology and innovation capabilities, including the development and implementation of ICT strategy and key systems.

The position reports to the Principal Information Security Advisor within Planning and Architecture, Technology Solutions, Information Services, Corporate.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the development, implementation, and management of Information Security policies, plans and procedures.
- Support internal and external security assurance activities such as the agencies annual IS18 return and other audits.
- Ensure ISMS artefacts such as the risk register and action plans are reviewed and maintained through their life cycle.
- Provide administrative support to the agencies Information Security risk and governance committees and working groups.
- Provide support in co-ordination of the agencies BCP activities.
- Provide support to project teams and deliver reliably on assigned activities.

**Desired Skills**:

- A strong understanding of ISMS principles, preferably in a government setting.
- Awareness of ASD’s Essential 8 cyber security controls
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
