**About the Role**

Beleura Private Hospital are seeking casual Administration Clerk for our busy Day Rehabilitation Unit. As an administration clerk, you are responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to patients and their families upon their arrival into the outpatient hospital program.

**Ability to work across a 5-day rotating roster is essential.**

**What you'll do**:

- Admission scheduling processes in Nookal Practice Management/Meditech programs
- Managing incoming and outgoing calls to the Outpatient reception
- Provide timely and accurate information to queries by patients and allied health team
- Work alongside medical staff, colleagues, patients and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients
- Compilation and management of patient admission papers and clinical notes
- Ensuring patients have adequate private health insurance and liaising with private health funds
- Admitting and discharging patients
- Processing payments through HICAPS machine.

**About you**

To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service and enjoy being part of a busy environment. The ability to converse and be empathetic while managing a busy flow of admissions and discharges is a key skill needed for this role. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable working in a large team.

**You will also bring**:

- Computer literacy including the Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Enthusiastic and a positive “can do” attitude
- Willingness to learn new things and contribute effectively to a team environment
- Experience either in a medical setting or a patient-facing role will be a good fit
- Experience with Patient Management Systems, ideally Meditech, is highly desired
- Experience in processing Health Fund Documentation will also be highly regarded.

**Requirements**:
