Job Details:
Site Manager of Cubic Defence at RAAF Base Amberley.

Duties include:

- Reports to Air Ranges & Debrief Systems (ARDS) Program Manager (PM).
- Perform duties as the Responsible Manager (Deputy RM) for CUBIC Defence Australia Air Ranges & Debrief Support (ARDS) program
- Supervising the work of the Air Systems team
- Work with the Quality Manager utilizing the Quality Management Systems (QMS) for Cubic’s Authorised Maintenance Organisation.
- Must possess a sound knowledge of all ARDS systems including all ARDS related software and hardware.
- Perform and supervise both routine and complex maintenance duties associated with ARDS while following established standards and practices.
- Provide guidance to all personnel in the maintenance of the P5 Tactical Combat Training System
- Attend military planning conferences and co-ordinate Cubic’s participation with military lead planners.
- Assist in Contract negotiations with the Commonwealth.
- Provide financial estimates for contract negotiations.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with Air Combat Group and senior RAAF squadron executives to ensure adequate number of ACMI pods are available for training at each user squadron.
- Plan, roster and coordinate weekly ARDS schedule ensuring adequate number of operators are available to perform debriefs as required.
- Organize the planning and co-ordination of ARDS deployments with Royal Australian Air Force personnel.
- Produce maintenance activity and other associated reports as required for monthly reports for the Commonwealth using CAMM2, LMIS and other databases.
- Liaise closely with military aircrew and maintenance personnel in performance of ARDS duties.
- Ensure delivery of training to military aircrew and groundcrew in the ACMI P5 TCTS for both Air and Ground System operations.
- This position typically works no supervision and is given direction by the Program Manager or Deputy PM. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority
