Your Role:

As a Field Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing Subject Matter Expert advice on engines, avionics and military systems that require engineering approval.

You will also have accountability for:

  • The provision of AOG support that delivers maintenance and trouble-shooting advice to the customer
  • The provision of continuous training to maintenance to personnel when requested
  • The provision of away base assistance to facilitate the maintenance and repair of aircrafts
  • The provision of assistance in resolving the aircrafts parts shortages and/or provisioning issues
  • Assisting in reducing nil fault found occurrences
  • Assisting in drafting technical instructions and/or procedures
  • Provision of clarification for the aircraft systems and maintenance procedures within delegated authority
  • Identifying and recommending alternative tooling and support equipment
  • Developing, recommending and reporting on corrective actions taken to maximise aircraft system operational capability, availability, readiness, safety and longevity

About You:

  • The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1 and ASIC requirements
  • Extensive C27-J or equivalent flight-line troubleshooting experience, preferably within mainline operations
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Certifying staff member
  • A minimum of 10 years aviation maintenance experience
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience on Airlift type aircraft
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of DASR regulations
  • Project Management qualifications
  • Ability to teach and mentor
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills
