**The Opportunity**:
We are excited to offer a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for an experienced and strategic Business Performance Team Leader to join our Finance team. This role has become available as several key internal resources have been seconded to support major Transformation projects currently underway across the Ampcontrol Group.

This is more than just a backfill—it's a chance to step into a critical leadership role at a time of exciting change and innovation. You’ll lead the Business Performance team of seven Finance Business Partners, playing a pivotal role in shaping how we report, analyse, and act on financial insights that drive operational success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of Finance Business Partners to deliver high-quality business performance analysis and financial support
- Collaborate with management and operational units on cost control, project analysis, and value initiatives
- Prepare regular financial forecasts and support the development of business plans across Business Units
- Provide timely and accurate financial information to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage the annual budgeting cycle and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Perform monthly ERP end-of-month processes accurately and on time
- Assist with the preparation of inputs for the monthly Finance Board Report
- Foster strong relationships with department leaders and stakeholders to ensure Finance delivers exceptional service

**About You**:
You are an experienced finance leader with a proven track record in business performance reporting, financial analysis, and stakeholder engagement. With a hands-on approach and strategic mindset, you thrive in dynamic environments and bring a solutions-focused mentality.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (postgraduate qualifications desirable)
- CA or CPA qualified
- Extensive experience in management accounting and financial business partnering
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Advanced Excel modelling and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ERP experience (e.g., MS Dynamics, SAP, TM1); familiarity with BI/CPM tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or heavy industry environments
- Knowledge of modern financial management and reporting practices
