**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Packing Production Manager plays a pivotal role in the Operations Leadership Team ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our packing function. This role leads a dynamic team to drive operational excellence, uphold safety standards, implement and mentor continuous improvement initiatives (TPM), and support the company's strategic goals whist meeting our customers' requirements. The role will play a key role in driving our company's sustainability commitments, while seeking continuous improvements in cost efficiency and supporting safety, environmental, and food safety standards. As such, we require a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering practices.

**Key Deliverables**
- Develop and implement the Packing business plan to achieve best-in-class OEE rates while effectively managing costs (labour, raw materials, packaging) within budget.
- Successfully lead the 45-member packing team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on Continuous Improvement and Safety across people, production, processes, systems, and compliance.
- Drive progress towards key sustainability targets related to packaging.
- Promote accountability for safety, quality, and environmental standards across all team members in Packing.
- Demonstrate exemplary leadership within the Operations Leadership Team, and across the business to continually enhance performance and efficiency.
