We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented Production Assistant to join our Production Team.

Reporting to the Site & Production Manager, this role required to perform production duties such as weighing, mixing, packaging and the dispatch of goods in the factory and warehouse:

  • Demonstrate and promote a proactive commitment to safety, health and environment whilst complying with all laws and Company policies.
  • Prepare chemicals for mixing.
  • Make batches of chemical products in accordance with written instructions.
  • Prepare packaging materials and pack product in accordance with written instructions.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
  • Move raw / finished product within and outside warehouse environment.
  • Perform warehousing duties as directed.
  • Ensure good housekeeping of work area.
  • Communicate effectively with production and warehouse team members to ensure targets are met.
  • Prompt reporting of safety breaches to the Site Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to all Environment, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in tool box meetings, safety initiatives, risk assessments and incident reporting.
  • Comply with standards contained in the BASF Code of Conduct.
  • Conduct oneself in a manner that reflects well on the Company at all times.
