We are seeking an Advisor Return to Work Management within our People Services department to translate and adapt health and safety best practise into an end-to-end coordination of return-to-work practices throughout AV.

The position is part time, 2 days per week, based in our Doncaster office, with a Work from Home hybrid arrangement available and negotiated with the successful applicant, taking into consideration the requirement to travel to support client groups.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Senior People Partner, the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Building partnerships and working collaboratively with injured employees, local managers, medical practitioners and compensation management specialists to develop, implement and manage an effective Return to Work (RTW) system.
- Working with the Advisor, Health and Safety, support the identification of workplace risks and develop, implement, and monitor strategies to deliver best practise injury management.
- Take appropriate steps to ensure practice adheres to governing legislation and policy, complying as per audit recommendations and systems reviews.
- Drive results across Operational and People Services objectives providing timely, relevant information and documentation required to effectively implement our WorkCover strategy.
- Monthly RTW reports analysing quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and issues
- Providing return to work services across the entire employee lifecycle.

**About you**

Applicants will have completed the WorkCover Return to Work Coordinator training and preferably hold a relevant Tertiary or Post-graduate qualification, in WorkCover Management, occupational therapy, physiotherapy or other allied health-related discipline.

In addition, applicants will possess:

- Demonstrated experience delivering Occupational Rehabilitation Services
- Extensive experience managing injuries and illnesses, conducting workplace assessments, and providing advice and feedback on treatment and rehabilitation.
- Demonstrated experience in return to work education in basic ergonomics, biomechanics and manual handling.
- Sound knowledge of relevant ethical protocols, legal considerations, medical terminology and confidentiality in accordance with the provision of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 and the Freedom of Information Act 1982.
- Willingness to travel throughout Metropolitan Melbourne as required.

This position is graded at AV4. The salary range for an AV4 position is $93,819 - $117,413 (pro rata) plus 10.5% superannuation. The expectation is that employees will commence at the base of the grade applicable to a position.
