To provide proactive claims management and return to work support to MedHealth’s injured team members and their support teams.
**Some of what you'll do**
Includes a combination of the following:
- Claims lodgment and pre-injury average weekly earnings (PIAWE) calculations.
- Collaborate with Payroll and Agents to ensure provision of weekly payments information to Agents to ensure workers are provided appropriate compensation.
- Development and maintenance of claims and return work management documentation and forms.
- Provision of regular reporting on claims across MedHealth to WHS Specialist, Director of People and Culture and relevant HR Business Partners.
- Liaison with injured team members, their internal support team, treating practitioners, Insurance Broker and Insurance Agents to support with claims management and return to work.
- Development and support with implementation of Return-to-Work Arrangements focused on an early intervention approach.
- [Seek and obtain information from medical practitioners, rehabilitation providers to ensure appropriate return to work supports are able to be completed.
**Qualifications** Qualifications and Experience**
- Two years prior experience as a Return-to-Work Coordinator
- State based introductory Return to Work Coordinator course
- Desirable but not required, either:
- Cert IV in Personal Injury Management (Return to Work).
- Healthcare qualifications to support with return to work (For example Exercise Physiologist, Occupational Therapist etc).
**Specific Knowledge and Skills**
- Prior experience in injury and claims management.
- Understanding of basic medical terminology.
