**The opportunity**

The Delivery and Information team ensures the sustained health and maintenance of UniSuper’s core systems and platforms - to provide high availability, stability, and performance. We remain committed to partner with the business units to provide business driven scale and simplification, guidance and delivery of the Enterprise Portfolio and technologies required to enable business capability and support the execution of UniSuper's strategy.

In addition to these direct accountabilities, this role will partner closely with our Data Office, who’s focus is predominately on data governance, policy, and analytics, to collaboratively build a strong data practice across UniSuper.

**About you**

- Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing team to deliver on the evolving needs of the data technology domain
- Directly support the data architecture practice in creation of standards, patterns, principles, etc.
- Indirectly support (via the Manager, Technical Services (Data)) the data platform and database administration practice
- Indirectly support (via the Manager, Technical Services (Data)) a transactional/operational systems focused data engineering practice
- Define and support the transition from our existing on-premises data platforms to cloud/service based solutions
- Collaborate with Architecture and Data Office to identify innovation opportunities and create a broad data technology strategy
- Collaborate with the Data Office in the creation and operation of a wider data community of practice across UniSuper, the definition of data specific policies, standards, frameworks, and shared practices and competencies, along with acting as the technical owner of the Modern Data Platform
