**Responsibilities**:
CAMILLA is searching for an eager and passionate Design Assist to join our colourful tribe Full-time for a 6 month fixed term contract.

The Design Assistant will support our fast-paced Design Team in the development cycle of product from conception to sales samples.

**The role includes but is not limited to..**
- In conjunction with the design team, assist in the development of seasonal collections appropriate for Northern and Southern Hemisphere across all channels
- retail, online and wholesale
- Create and maintain seasonal line sheets
- Maintain all style updates
- Review and comment on fabric and trim
- Review lab dips/strike offs (with direction from designers) and make directional comments and approvals
- Write and distribute design recaps after every step of the design process for product manager, tech production and design
- Create and maintain fabric and trim development binders and library
- Assist in the conceptual development of the collection
- Researches concepts, fabrications, trims, runway trends
- Prepares design presentations for review meetings
- Prepares spec packages
- fabrication and trim, for garment technician
- Drives self-development and career progress
- Reporting to Designer

**Experience desired..**
- Minimum of 1 year experience Design Assistant role.
- Fashion Design / Graphics Diploma or Degree
- Creative Flair and a keen interest in Fashion
