Design Manager

Design Manager required for a nationally recognized top tier commercial builder, based from their office in Sydney.
They operate across Commercial, Residential, Education, Industrial, Health, & Government with projects up to $500M.As the Design Manager you will be responsible for managing the delivery of construction projects from inception to completion.
You will be heavily involved from the front end, liaising with the client, the design team, and all relevant stakeholders.As The Design Manager You Will Be Responsible ForSelection and engagement of consultants to produce construction documentationManage consultants and coordinate the documentation process with consultants.Run design meetings.
Follow up issues raised by consultants.Hand over documentation to the construction team and assist them during construction on design queriesManage client during the design and construction process.To be considered for the position of Design Manager you will require:Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or similarMinimum 2 years'+ Experience in a Design Management rolePrevious experience working for a head contractor is essentialExperience within the ECI and Tender Phase as well as the Construction & Delivery Phase is advantageousBe very strong with Value Engineering & BuildabilityExperience working on new build construction projects valued $30M+For any questions relating to this role or other opportunities with D&B and our clients please contact Adam Shaw on or click apply.
