Purchasing Officer

Artisan is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented **Purchasing & Inventory Officer **to play a pivotal role in purchasing and coordinating clinic associated stock, and providing a supply chain function to manage stock effectively for our 18 clinics. This role also includes the successful delivery of operational and procurement support to the clinics and administrative assistance to the Product & Ops team
Based in our head office in Albion, this is an exciting position; the core focus of which is to enable our clinicians to deliver our full suite of product and treatment offerings to ensure the best possible results for our clients.
**About You**
A professional administrator with strong purchasing and stock control skills who thrives working in a collaborative team environment within a fast-paced organisation
Proven experience in supporting procurement and/or inventory management activities
Have a commercial mindset; naturally focussed on reducing costs and increasing productivity
Effective communication and consulting skills; confident and comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders of all levels
Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Excel is essential and experience using SharePoint is desirable
Experience in the medical aesthetics industry is an advantage but not essential
**The Role**
It’s important to us that you align with our values, including a desire to provide the best possible results. To achieve this as the Purchasing & Inventory Officer, your role will include:
- Facilitating purchasing for equipment, product, and consumable goods for our clinics
- Monitoring inventory shipments from suppliers and managing inventory returns when required
- Establishing reporting to monitor stock utilisation and stock turns
- Facilitating regular and ad hoc inventory reporting to manage and mitigate product wastage
- Managing stock transition activities including stocktake and system write on
- Administration of supplier account setup including commercial review of contracts and supplier T&Cs
- Maintaining contracts within contract database, remaining aware of upcoming expiring agreements
- Assisting with transition activities related to procurement and purchasing for system consolidation including masterdata set up
- Supporting Artisan’s growth strategies including assisting with introduction of new treatments and supplier consolidation
- Additional ad hoc coordination duties to support the Product & Operations team
