Trivantage Manufacturing is a leader in electrical engineering and switchboard manufacturing. We specialize in design, manufacturing, testing, and installation of electrical switchboards, transformer kiosks, and package substation solutions. With strong national growth we have extended our partnership with international suppliers and are now seeking for an experienced **Procurement Manager** to lead our Purchasing and Sourcing - Projects functions.
**Job Summary**
As the **Procurement Manager**, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. You will play a key role in optimizing supply chain efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and monitor procurement, inventory, and distribution strategies aligned with manufacturing requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments—especially Production, Engineering, and Warehouse—to plan procurement activities and ensure material availability meets production demands and delivery timelines, while minimising holding costs.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with reliable suppliers—particularly for electrical and switchboard components—to ensure cost-effective and timely purchasing.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting of all procurement, inventory tracking, storage, and distribution activities to enable timely reordering and stock replenishment.
- Coordinate outbound logistics and transportation to ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers or project sites.
- Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier innovation, or process improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract administration, performance evaluation, and supplier risk assessments.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant legislation.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management (experience in switchboard manufacturing preferred)
- Proven skills in negotiation and vendor management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Pronto and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak and understand Vietnamese desirable.
