A rare in-house Communications Assistant position has become available with one of the most prominent families in the Australian wine industry - Casella Family Brands.

The Casella Family Brands communications department is looking for someone driven and dedicated with a passion for communications to join their team.

From internal and external corporate and brand communications, we are after someone creative, confident, resourceful and a team player who would love to not only learn and immerse themselves with hand-on experience in communications, but also the wine industry We would ideally like someone 3-5 days a week, but this is flexible

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Developing and maintaining up-to-date media lists and feature lists.
- Digital copywriting for websites and EDMs.
- Co-ordinating product media send-outs for new products, vintage releases and awards submissions.
- Supporting the Brand PR and Communications Executive on campaigns, events and tasks.
- Assisting with drafting press releases, features, editorial copy and other media materials.
- Assisting with pitching to influencers/media and developing media visit itineraries.
- Monitoring media coverage and developing media coverage reports.
- Creating and scheduling social media content calendars for some of the wine brands.
- General administrative tasks

- be able to work as part of a team and independently.
- be an active problem solver and have initiative.
- have proficient time management skills.
- be great at using the Microsoft suite.
- have a strong willingness to learn.
- be proactive, showcase strong initiative and make this role THEIRS
- be sound at general administrative duties.
