**A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Manager to help support our **procurement practices, procedures and policies**

**Full time permanent position**

**The position is based at **Carrum Downs**

**$103,285 p/annum + 11.5% Superannuation + Not for Profit packaging**

**About the role...**

We are looking for a Procurement Manager experienced in reviewing systems, processes and procedures that implement improvements in procurement.

The successful incumbent will have a people oriented approach with good liaison and negotiation abilities. The Procurement Manager will provide leadership, vision, direction and structure to drive effective, efficient and value-add procurement planning, sourcing and contract management that is aligned with MiCare’s strategic priorities and business requirements.

**About you...**

You will be proactive, self-motivated, positive, reliable, responsible and accurate with attention to detail. A wide degree of creativity and latitude.

Excellent time management ability and a professional approach. Flexible and resilient with an ability to cope with constant change and sometimes working long hours. Integrity and able to resolve conflict situations.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in procurement and/or demonstrated knowledge and experience in procurement including contract, purchasing, tendering and competition processes.
- Victorian Driver’s licence

**Skills & Experience**
- Ability to educate staff in procurement requirements and associated matters.
- Well-developed oral, written and interpersonal communication skills including skills in liaison and negotiation.
- Experience in reviewing systems, processes and procedures that implement improvements in procurement.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, time-management and project management skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other areas of the organisation to achieve agreed outcomes - teamwork.
- Demonstrated commitment to EEO, WH&S and Cultural Diversity principles.
- The ability to speak a second language preferably reflecting a migrant group to which the organisation provides or will provide services highly regarded.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

**A police check with no disclosable outcome, medicare evidence of current flu vaccination and full COVID-19 vaccination, including dose 3 is required by MiCare for this position.**

**A commitment to work exclusively with MiCare Residential Aged Care facility as your only employer during COVID-19 will be highly regarded.**
