**About the Company**

One of the leading meat manufacturers in Australia with over 75 years in business.

Due to our clients strong growth plans and the commissioning of a new site, an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter with strong FMCG experience has become available within the Maintenance team.

**About the Role**

Working in the Maintenance department, you will be responsible for the provision of preventative and corrective maintenance as part of the factory maintenance team.

**About You**
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Essential)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Reliable, punctual and able to work autonomously
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrated skills and experience in relation to safety including risk management
- Experience working on packaging equipment or food manufacturing machinery (Desirable)
- Experience working in food manufacturing factories with an understanding of processes and hygiene requirements (Desirable)
