Programmed Training Services have opportunities available for keen and reliable people looking for a career pathway as a fully qualified Mechanical Fitter.

As a Mechanical Fitter Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work with your hands, assembling, servicing and maintaining industrial gearboxes, and occasionally assisting our geared motor team. You will receive dedicated support from Programmed in all aspects of your training and employment.

We have a position available for an enthusiastic person looking to start or continue their Mechanical Fitter apprenticeship in Melbourne.

**About your new role**:

- Assembling, servicing and maintaining industrial gearboxes
- Prepare products for dispatch
- Assist qualified tradespeople in the installation and maintenance of equipment
- Work towards a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical

**About you**:

- Current drivers' licence
- Safety conscious
- Keen to learn, reliable and committed
- Ability to undertake a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen

**Forklift ticket and/or Machining experience would be an advantage**
