A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as the People and Culture Advisor, reporting to the Executive Manager, People and Culture Operations, sitting within our Enterprise Services team.

A bit about your role

We have developed a tiered approach to how we do our work. Tier 0 is where employees utilise our hub and policies to self serve. Tier 1 is where this role provides exceptional answers for all queries and process execution that cannot be completed through Tier 0.

In your new role as the People and Culture Advisor, you will provide up-to-date advice, support and guidance to all nbn employees across a broad range of HR matters in line with nbn’s policies and processes.
- Being the first point of contact for employees and other workers to provide information on P&C policy, process and procedures where they have been unable to self serve through both phone and a case management system.
- Taking on role of coach and educating our teams on how to find information themselves through Workday or the Hub
- Acting as SME on particular areas, which includes being the point of escalation for the team in relation to complex questions and involvement with COE’s to ensure that Local Work Instructions, hub pages and Workday process improvements are updated as required.
- Ensuring that the HRIS (Workday) changes are actioned and updated promptly

A bit about you

As the People and Culture Advisor, you will bring extensive previous experience in a People Services and / or Human Resources environment, sound knowledge in HR Lifecycle activities and continuous improvement. To be successful in your role, you will have proven strong problem solving skills coupled with the ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.

A degree qualification in Human Resources or other related field is highly desired.
