In this strategic role, you will work closely with Section Leaders and Corporate Services Heads to align People & Culture initiatives with firm goals and business plans. You'll contribute to strategic planning, workforce design, and support organisational change and transformation programmes.This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including, assisting with workforce planning activities such as succession planning, promotions, and team structures, partnering with Talent Acquisition to address resourcing needs and recruitment processes, and collaborating with Learning & Development to deliver tailored programs.You will guide partners and employees through the end-of-year review process, participating in remuneration reviews, and coaching on employee development, engagement, team effectiveness, and wellbeing.Additionally, the role will see you promoting a high-performance, values-driven culture and supporting an exceptional employee experience. You will also work with the Senior People & Culture Manager to analyse people metrics such as attrition, productivity, and engagement, and advise partners using data and analytics, including financial dashboards, to inform workforce decisions.About YouYou will ideally have the following skills and experience:ideally a minimum of three years of experience in a People & Culture role within a law firm or professional services firm;a strong understanding of all relevant employment legislation;a strong client (internal stakeholder) service focus and commercial/business acumen;outstanding attention to detail;excellent organisational skills and experience in managing a large number of stakeholders and competing priorities and demands;excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop rapport and build strong relationships with stakeholders;advanced interviewing skills, including experience interviewing candidates with a legal background;a team player who enjoys working co-operatively as part of a collegiate team, and can also work autonomously; andstrong ethics and integrity and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.About UsHall & Wilcox is a leading independent Australian law firm.
