**Position Information**:
Kingsgrove North High School is a public comprehensive, coeducational high school in the Canterbury Network of schools. It is a school that offers every student a place to learn, lead and achieve their personal best. Kingsgrove North High School has a current enrolment of 920 students. Our diverse community includes students from 47 different cultural backgrounds and 92% of the population being from a NESB background. HSC academic achievements have meant that our high achievers pursue sought after courses at universities of their choice and many other students follow pathways through TAFE and work. The school offers a variety of VET courses to allow students to learn skills in learning spaces that are of industry standard as well as trade training centres. STEM is a growing area at Kingsgrove North High School and is involved in a Community of Schools. Kingsgrove North High School is involved in a wide range of community partnerships which aim to broaden student learning experiences. The school has also developed strong links with local businesses that have contributed towards improving student learning outcomes. **Selection Criteria**:
- Approval to teach Personal Development and Physical Education (PDHPE), Sport Lifestyle and Recreation, Community and Family Studies and Physical Activity & Sports Studies, and willingness to teach Exploring Early Childhood and Child Studies.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with the capacity to contribute to faculty and whole school programs and initiatives and work as a collaborative member of the PDHPE faculty.
- Ability to use effective classroom management skills and wellbeing practices to create classrooms and outdoor environments that are dynamic, engaging, inclusive and foster a culture of high expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to organise weekly sport, carnivals, extracurricular sporting activities and to promote sport in the school.
