**ABOUT THE ROLE**

With an advanced understanding of finance systems and organisational data flow, the FinOps lead identifies opportunities for process enhancement, ensuring the utmost efficiency and precision in capturing and presenting financial data.

Working cross functionally with almost every team across the product, customer and support functions, tracing data from the source, the FinOps Lead communicates, collaborates and influences change and drives scalability. Balancing the necessity of streamlining and automating workflows with stringent internal controls to support the growth and increasing compliance complexity of our business while minimising process friction for our employees, customers and vendors.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**

**Process & Systems Optimisation**
- Lead automation initiatives, including implementing a self-service reporting dashboard, fostering collaboration, and improving reporting efficiency.
- Streamline invoicing systems (e.g., Stripe) to create efficient, end-to-end billing processes across multiple markets (U.S., Australia, and U.K.).
- Evaluate integration challenges in payment platforms and oversee migration to enhance user experience and process efficiency.
- Develop flowcharts, SOPs, and comprehensive documentation to minimise errors and standardise financial workflows.
- Monitor and analyse disputes/chargebacks, identify recurring issues, and collaborate with finance leaders to resolve them. Establish performance metrics and KPIs to monitor the success of implemented process improvements.

**Stakeholder Collaboration and Change Management**
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including venues, sales, onboarding, and account management, to optimise workflows and reporting structures.
- Collaborate with the Product Team to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend operational enhancements.
- Facilitate smooth transitions by analysing workflows, designing SOPs, and delivering strategic recommendations for process improvements.
- Conduct training sessions and develop manuals to support internal teams and ensure alignment across departments.

**Customer Experience and Strategic Enhancements**
- Enhance client understanding and navigation of self-service dashboards by addressing system limitations and aligning with organisational workflows.
- Optimise payment flows, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance.
- Provide insights for integrating marketing products into financial operations to improve the consumer journey.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role or related field, such as business analysis, consulting, or operations management
- Analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve and improve organisational processes.
- Experience in managing projects or process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to facilitate organisational change and manage the people-related aspects of business process adjustments.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- High degree of proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth, with rapid change and potentially ambiguous environments.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
