**Daily Responsibilities**
- Installs, repairs, balances, and rotates tyres.
- Locates the member car in tyres hop area of the lot. Lists any body damage on the service order. Protects the driver’s seat, steering wheel and floor with provided covers. Drives the member vehicle into the install bay, onto hydraulic hoists and sets the brake. Raises the vehicle. ? Removes wheels using an impact gun. Follows safety and security procedures. Rolls wheels to the mounting machine; removes the valve core, weights, and tyres from the wheels. Attaches new valve stems, mounts new or repaired tyres on wheels, and fills tyres to appropriate air pressures.
- Operates the automatic balance machine to obtain the proper reading of weight and placement to balance wheel. Attaches lead weights to rims with a lead weight hammer.
- Alerts the Manager or Supervisor for a hub check. Once wheels are re-attached according to Tyre Shop procedures, alerts the Manager or Supervisor whom did the hub check to complete the 10pt release. Parks member autos in the lot and returns keys and final invoice to the sales desk.
- Assists with sales and stocks tyres in the sales area in accordance with the Tyre Shop's merchandising plan. Cleans the installation area. Performs the opening and closing procedures as outlined in the Tyre Centre Guideline Manual.
- Follows proper Tyre Shop and general safety procedures and standards.
- Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
- Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.

**Licenses and Certifications**

Current, valid Driver’s License; Costco Tyre Shop, Hazardous Materials training - Module 1.

Mechanical ability; customer service skills
