The Principal Advisor (Workforce) will work within the Workforce team to deliver practical business outcomes to RoadTek's state-wide operations including: - Provide high level specialist HR advice to RoadTek managers and leaders
- Lead and manage investigations and reviews into a range of complex and sensitive IR and case matters
- Lead, develop, mentor and provide direction to the team
**Some of your accountabilities will include**: - Manage end to end case management matters, including leading investigations, internal enquiries and recommendations to the delegate
- Lead the investigation of industrial relations queries and reviews and provide high level advice to the team and RoadTek leadership
- Contribute to team leadership by supporting the Manager (Workforce & Capability), in a range of business activities such as process improvement, performance management and coaching of staff. Write and/or review complex reports, briefing notes, submissions and where required verbal briefings and presentations to senior management groups.
While there are no mandatory requirements for the role, to be successful you will need: - Demonstrated experience in a similar Human Resources role
- The ability to work under pressure in an environment of competing priorities and deadlines
- The capability to prioritise workloads and identify urgent tasks for immediate action
- Excellent communication skills to articulate to a diverse audience in a clear, concise, and convincing manner. The ability to develop, maintain and foster strong relationships and partnerships with internal clients and external stakeholders and providers, with a focus on twowaycommunication.
