**The company**
This well-regarded, mature, multinational business, invested in the manufacturing and sale of quality Mechanical Power Transmission equipment, Gears and Chain products is seeking a Technical Sales Representative in Adelaide.

**The role**
Focusing on providing technical solutions to your customers across a range of industries, you will manage current accounts and develop new leads and sales. You will implement the strategic plan and undertake regular travel covering your designated region of South Australia.

You will be surrounded by a good leader and team who will support you. As an experienced and capable salesperson, it is expected you will be self-disciplined, resilient and driven enough to manage your sales region independently. Working for an Australian manufacturer will support your training and even more, in these challenging times, has stock available for your customers.

Ideally, this role would suit a sales rep coming from the bearings industry or working for a distributor of mechanical products. Someone who loves tinkering and is looking to use that passion to specialize and learn a product range to a deeper level.

**Your key skills and competencies will include**:

- Strong mechanical technical aptitude, with possible mechanical trade
- Experience selling bearings or mechanical power transmissions desirable
- Mechanically minded and desire to fault find and specify solutions
- B2B sales experience with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Proven ability to establish new relationships and build rapport quickly
- Good presentation and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
