**About the role**

In this role you will be responsible for delivering academic language, digital literacy, and academic skills to support Yolŋgu students whilst empowering Yolŋgu mentors. You will strive to assist Yolŋgu students to improve their quality of life by enabling their access to Vocational and Tertiary education pathways and qualifications.

**This position is based in the remote Aboriginal community of Ramingining in the Northern territory.**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop resources to support student learning
- Provide physical and administration support to the Higher Education Hub including preparation of resources, maintaining records, scheduling student contact and security of premises
- Work with Mentors and key stakeholders to maximise participant attendance
- Provide the Higher Education Manager with all required reports, timetables, and enrolment information

**Skills and Experience**
- Recent experience in the delivery of adult education in an adult VET, Tutoring or Tertiary level setting
- Tertiary qualifications in Education
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people from all education levels
- Previous experience working with Aboriginal people in a remote setting in highly desirable
