- **4 months **fixed term** contract with full-time working hours located in Adelaide**

**Role**

The Student Engagement Coordinator is responsible for engaging the students in college and community events, as well as managing key reoccurring events, e.g., Orientations, Exams and Graduations as the key coordinator. Be a key team member of the Student Services team with liaising and providing general administrative support for academic programs.

**Responsibilities**
- Work in liaison with other members of the Student Services team and relevant academic staff, to provide organisational assistance
- Link students with external social events, including those conducted by Study Adelaide
- Promote the development of the College student groups by providing guidance and mentoring to members
- Actively seek opportunities to increase real engagement opportunities for students and advance the notion of best practice Student Engagement
- Develop and maintain networks within the Higher Education sector aimed at increasing access for The University of Adelaide College students to connect with local communities
- Organise and deliver presentations to students when required
- Provide general administrative support for the Student Services Team
- Manage and update Student Services Hub
- Oversee coordination of events
- Comply with company policies and procedures including WHS legislation requirements
- Ensure as far as is practicable that the workplace, under your control, is safe and without risks to health

**Requirements**:

- Understanding of legislation and regulations governing our industry (essential)
- Degree in relevant discipline (desirable)
- Excellent organisational skills, planning and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Efficient in multi-tasking and working under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, if required
- Ability to plan, control, coordinate and manage activities with mínimal supervision
- Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
