**Company Overview**

In 2008, Adelaide teenager Sam Davis fell victim to a violent and unprovoked one-punch assault that cost him his life. Sam’s death inspired the creation of the Sammy D Foundation to end violence by connecting and empowering young people, so that they can live their best life free from violence. Through education and awareness programs on bullying prevention, violence prevention and alcohol and other drug education and mentoring young people at risk, the Sammy D Foundation offers advice and support to people of all ages, and it has equipped more than 190,000 young people across South Australia throughout schools and sporting clubs with the knowledge needed to keep themselves and their mates safe.

**Role Overview**

Due to strong organisational growth, the Sammy D Foundation is now seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Education and Mentoring Coordinator who is passionate about ending violence in our community. As part of the Education team, this role will report to the Education Manager and work collaboratively with other team members, casuals and volunteers to support the development and delivery of education programs, as well as manage the service provisions of one of the Foundation’s Youth Mentoring programs.

Key responsibilities include:

- Contributing and participating in the promotion and delivery of education programs across a range of schools, sporting clubs and community organisations;
- Supporting the development, coordination, and evaluation of all Sammy D Foundation programs;
- Managing positive relationships and effectively liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders;
- Contributing positively to the effective growth of all aspects of the Foundation.
