As the Manager - Performance, you will be responsible for collating, manipulating, analysing and presenting data for the Director, Deputy Director-General and Divisional Leadership Team.
What you'll do
Plan and design analyses, extract, collate, manipulate and review data to undertake statistical analysis, using statistical software and validated statistical methods.
Prepare a range of reports, through different modalities, that meet and exceed the information needs of the organisation.
Inspect, cleanse, transform and analyse data to elicit insights, inform conclusions and support effective decision making.
Query missing, incomplete or inconsistent data using analysis software and tools, including but not limited to Oracle SQL, SAS, R, Python and/or Excel, undertaking analysis and developing queries as required.
About you
**We are searching for someone with**:
Demonstrated high-level knowledge and experience in statistical methods and concepts and demonstrated ability to appropriately use statistical procedures and interpret statistical information.
Demonstrated high-level programming, data manipulation and analytical ability, including experience using statistical programming packages to interrogate, extract, and manipulate data, conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analysis and produce figures and tables; and experience with large and complex data sets and relational databases.
Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills and written communications skills, including the ability to consult with stakeholders of all levels in the organisation, external organisations and professional groups, ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience, and report writing skills.
