**About our client**:
Our client is a highly regarded and proudly Australian born resources company firmly on the pathway to renewable energy. They have been recently re-invigorated under a new Board and have secured market and external funding to enact plans for careful but rapid growth. As a recipient of a large part of that funding, their CIO is looking to grow the IT Division across multiple positions.

Due to that growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join their team. Reporting to the PMO Manager and working mainly Project Managers, the Project Scheduler will be responsible for road mapping and on-time milestones of mainly enterprise data projects across the business.

**About the role**:

- Develop and maintain project schedules using project management tools, included MS Project, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
- Work closely with project teams to understand project deliverables, milestones and dependencies and integrate them into the project schedule.
- Analyse project schedules to identify potential scheduling conflicts or delays and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress against the project schedule, identifying and escalating issues and risks as necessary.
- Provide regular reports on project schedule status to project teams and stakeholders.
- Work with project teams and Project Managers to develop and maintain resource plans, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated to project tasks.
- Develop and maintain standard project management processes and procedures related to project scheduling.

**About you**:
You will need to be an organised, friendly and approachable individual. In addition, you will need:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as information technology, computer science, or project management.
- Proven experience in project scheduling, preferably in an energy, resources and/or mining environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, such as PRINCE2, Agile, or MS Project.
- Experience in project development lifecycles
- Demonstrated analytical skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and risks and develop effective mitigation strategies
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project schedule status to project team members, other managers and internal stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships with project teams and all stakeholders
