
Schools & Pathway Officer (Regional South)

It is an exciting time for tennis in WA and we have ambitious plans to grow the game from grassroots through to high performance. To do this we are transforming how we deliver tennis, with the aim of making it more accessible, to more people, more often. To help us achieve our plan we are looking for a Schools & Pathway Officer to join our team on a permanent, full time basis.
About the role
- In this role you will:_
- Maintain a comprehensive teacher database for schools in your region, fostering lasting relationships that drive tennis participation
- Develop and execute a teacher communications plan, ensuring regular tennis communication to key school personnel
- Drive expansion opportunities by facilitating the school's RBC framework, unlocking the potential for increased student engagement in tennis
- Strategically promote the framework to ensure stakeholder advocacy and highlight the advantageous potential for all parties
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to maintain mutually beneficial relationships with schools, coaches, clubs and councils to increase tennis participation in the region
- Utilize relevant internal resources to source data, enabling the development of customised pathways and playing opportunities within each Local Government Area
About you
- What you will bring to the role:_
- Ability to drive change and influence stakeholders towards common goals
- Enthusiastic and motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven with proficiency in Microsoft Suite and database management
- Inclusive mindset, engaging everyone within communities
- Introductory coaching qualification and/or relevant sport officiating qualifications are highly regarded
- Applicants based in Bunbury or neighboring regions are preferred
- You must hold a current Australian drivers licence and be prepared to travel as needed for work related to Tennis West
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
