We're now seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager – WA to lead and grow our Western Australia operations.
About the Role
As the Western Welding Services Regional Manager – WA, you will take full ownership of our Western Australian welding supplies business, driving safety leadership, profitable growth, and operational excellence across our branch network.
Reporting to the Director, Linde South Pacific Welding you will be responsible for P&L performance, leading high-performing teams, engaging closely with customers and suppliers, and executing strategic initiatives that enhance customer experience and deliver sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and implement continual business improvement initiatives with focus on developing growth and appropriate expansion of the business, product and service
- Deliver sales and growth outcomes by close management and connection to the sales and service teams, performance management to targets, appropriate field activity, growth focus, customer retention and pricing / margin performance
- Directly accountable for the delivery of continuing revenue & profit growth for the business, leading the SPW WA team to deliver all safety, sales, service, and profit targets
- Drive revenue, margin, and market share growth across WA. Work with the BOC Business Managers / Directors to improve overall customer growth & experience across the BOC & SPW business.
- Lead a safety-first culture focused on zero harm across all operations. A culture of high performance in the region and ensuring team members are selected, trained and developed to be safe, proactive & positive in all aspects of their individual roles
- Manage regional P&L performance and implement effective commercial strategies. Identify new market and expansion opportunities in collaboration with national stakeholders.
- Champion continuous improvement across supply chain, sales, and service functions. Contributing to the overall performance of the South Pacific Welding business and as a senior member of the management team
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team culture grounded in safety, accountability, and excellence.
- Protect the brands and name of SPW, BOC and the Linde Group
What You'll Bring
- Proven leadership experience in a regional, branch, or multi-site role within a trade, industrial, or technical sales environment
- Demonstrated continual success in a leadership role (including P&L accountability), preferably within an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering profitable growth. Proven experience delivering overall results through close management of individual team member targets
- Deep understanding of sales, operations, and supply chain management
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and fostering high-performance culture. Experience in leading and developing teams in an environment of change
- Strong people management & interpersonal skills with sound knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and practices
- Experience in industrial, welding, or gas sectors
