**About the Company**

With a national presence, this organisation works with some of the worlds leading mining, construction and engineering companies has grown to become one of Australia’s largest owned workforce services businesses. To assist in the continued success within the organisation we are looking to on-board an experienced Financial Accountant, likely with an Audit background, to take a lead in managing the companies statutory accounting, audit and taxation reporting obligations. You will also have the opportunity to work on a number of business improvement projects relating to the delivery of a highly efficient reporting framework.

**About the Role**
- Ensure accurate preparation, completion and review of the Group’s Annual Report/Consolidated financial statements and any required subsidiary financial statements
- Ensure all statutory reporting, including annual reports are delivered internally and externally accurately and on time
- Lead the implementation of any accounting standard changes, ensuring upcoming changes are communicated to key stakeholders in a timely manner
- Project manage and co-ordinate statutory audit engagements, including managing audit processes to agreed timetables
- Continuously strive to improve audit processes by driving the audit timetable process
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the external tax advisors
- Preparation of tax effect accounting workpapers across the Group of companies, for review by the external tax advisors
- Support the implementation of process improvements to deliver services that compare with best practice
- Develop strong relationships with various stakeholders in the organisation.
