**Overview**

The Head of FP&A is part of the Corporate Markets Finance global leadership team, reporting to the CFO, Corporate Markets. This role has accountability for the financial performance management of the APAC P&Ls, providing financial support to Corporate Markets through business partnering.

The Head of FP&A will support the APAC based Corporate Markets businesses to deliver the approved in year budget and forecasts through effective month end review and performance reporting, monthly rolling forecasts and annual budgeting. The role will also support the CFO and HR Director, Corporate Markets with effective management of their cost centres.

The role will lead a high performing team, to support the business, driving financial best practices, which align with the business strategy. There will also be a focus on efficiency, and a need to drive continuous improvement of processes both within finance and within the broader Corporate Markets business globally.

**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**

Strategic Focus
- Key contributor to the long-term plan for Corporate Markets by developing strategic insights and analysis to support decisions for sustainable profitability.
- Develop the commercial narrative and inputs for the Board, including the capturing of detailed budget requirements, strategic inputs, competitive pressures, expected outcomes, goals, initiatives, key performance measures and capital expenditure.
- Lead the development of high-quality analysis to be provided to the Division FP&A Manager that can be used to explain business performance to the ELT, Boards and/or for Investor presentations.
- Provide commercial assistance and advice for business cases (opex / capex) to ensure all costs and benefits are properly captured.

Operational Management
- Financial lead on the APAC P&L, delivering the performance reporting of the APAC businesses within the global format to agreed timetable.
- Ownership of actual monthend result working closely with the Financial Control Team.
- Lead the development and ongoing management of KPIs / metrics for tracking and trending of performance.
- Develop and maintain driver based and client level forecast models to drive more accurate forecasting, more accountability and better understanding of performance trends
- Lead the monthly rolling forecast process ensuring evaluation, inclusion and/or escalation of material risks and opportunities are managed effectively
- Perform detailed financial modelling to understand the forecast impact of certain transactions, which support the business.
- Support the Senior Pricing Analyst in new and renewing contractual activities, from inception through to contract signing, also including liaising with internal stakeholders
- Oversee regular reviews of client contracts to ensure Link Group services are being correctly charged for with no revenue leakage, with collaboration with the billing team.
- Develop effective reporting and analytic processes to ensure costs can be managed to budget/forecast including but not limited to headcount reconciliation, cost of sale evaluation, vendor management and capitalisation.
- Work closely with the procurement team to support and input into procurement related activities, in relation to key Corporate Market supplier re-tenders

- Develop, lead, and maintain a high-performing, motivated team, which will include development, coaching, talent management and succession planning.

- Ensure full adherence to legal and regulatory requirements and the good conduct of the businesses, maintaining ongoing compliance and upholding the reputation of Link Group
- Achievement of business objectives and the maintenance of ongoing regulatory compliance

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Relevant professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- 8-10 years of experience across Financial Services or similar years of experience in a financial institution
- A strong communicator, who also inspires confidence and motivates others at different levels across the organisation.
- An experienced people leader able to select, retain, develop and inspire a high performing team
- Knowledge and experience in dealing within a regulatory environment, including a sound understanding of key regulatory regimes in the jurisdiction in which Link Group operates.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse information to identify the key issue/action and drive resolution.
- Flexible and responsive, able to work to tight deadlines within a global, complex and matrixed environment.
- Extensive experience working with cube based Financial Planning, Business Intelligence tools and ERP systems
- Extensive management accounting experience, working in a large corporate with multiple legal entities, divisions and cost centres
