As the Pacific IRC & Risk Business Partner you'll manage Industrial Regulatory Compliance, Industrial Emergency & Crisis Management, Risk Management including Process and Strategic Risk activities and reporting of those activities across Pacific Industrial, ensuring a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.

Full-time permanent role to be based at any of the major Air Liquide locations in Australia or New Zealand.

- Promote Safety First mindset across Pacific Industrial, encouraging employees to priotise safety in all aspects of their work
- Foster a continuous improvement quality culture, inspiring teams to strive for excellence in their processes and procedures
- Plan, consult and manage Industrial Regulatory Compliance activities, ensuring adherence to all relevant requirements and standards
- Be the central contact point for all liaison and engagement with external regulatory bodies
- Lead and manage Regulatory Compliance matters under Legal Privilege, ensuring the organisation’s legal obligations are met
- Lead internal audit and external Industrial Regulatory activities, driving action plans and improvement projects with affected sites
- Manage the EnviroEssentials Repository, coordinating external liaison, access, and action deadlines incollaboration with the HSEQ Regional team
- Train, coach and provide guidance to Pacific Industrial on Industrial Regulatory Compliance governance and related activities, including the use of Enviro Essentials
- Act as the Air Liquide Pacific Representative to external stakeholder Committees or Boards, representing the organisation’s interests in relevant forums
- Utilise data from IMS Events and Risk Management plan profiles to identify and report Pacific Industrial’s highest risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Conduct thorough analysis of site-based Process Risks and drive decision-making processes to address potential risks
- Manage and report on elements important to safety, including monitoring non-conformances and deviations in EIS calibration or maintenance intervals
- Act as the Industrial Emergency Management Process Owner, ensuring compliance with IMS requirements and promoting readiness across all facilities
- Verify the implementation, management and effectiveness of mitigation measures in the field
- Work closely with the management team and facility managers to support the implementation of approved mitigation measures

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience in Industrial Regulatory Compliance management and safety leadership
- Strong understanding of relevant industrial regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders effectively
- Experience in leading audits, risk assessments, and emergency management procedures
- Ability to analyse data and rive improvement initiative base on findings
- Prior experience in coaching, training and guiding teams on regulatory compliance and safety best practices
- Demonstrated ability to work collaborativelty in a team-orientated environment
