**About us**:
Located in Upper Mount Gravatt, Club Southside is a popular sports and community club that provides a unique facility for members and guests with a primary focus on contributing to the local community.

We are looking for committed and enthusiastic Grounds Person join our busy Club.

To be successful you must be willing to work weekends and have a "can do attitude".

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carry out planting, weeding and maintenance of lawns, trees and garden beds
- Operate a range of garden equipment such as mowers, whipper snipers, leaf blowers, hedges, pressure cleaner and other tools as required
- Controlling and supervising car spaces
- Ensure WH&S requirements are met on a day-to-day basis, fully understand and practice OH&S and building safety procedures
- Clean and removes rubbish from club surrounds, including Club front entries and loading dock exterior areas
- Perform non-trade duties associated as requested
- Report any equipment failures, workplace hazards and inappropriate behaviours from customers, suppliers or co-workers
- Perform duties at our other Club, Southern Cross Sports Club when required
- Have experience in a similar position
- Be willing to learn and pass that knowledge on to others
- Appreciate the different cultures that form the Clubs membership base
- Maintain a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude towards co-workers, customers, management and associate groups
- Able to follow management directives and maintain open communication
- Have a strong focus on customer service
- Able to work effectively on their own

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $24.87 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
