YOUR ROLE
The IAG Procurement Centre of Excellence (PCOE) operates within the Procurement Partnering and Commercial (PP&C) team, aiming to achieve sustainable and risk-conscious procurement and partnering through insights, processes, and policies. Our goal is to empower stakeholders across the enterprise to make informed and impactful decisions. The IAG Procurement operating model is centre-led, presenting the unique challenge of influencing decisions and driving change in a cross-functional environment across Australia and New Zealand.
In the role of Consultant, Procurement Enablement, you will provide frontline support for non-claim procurement processes, facilitating the standardization of procurement practices and assisting procurement practitioners in adopting best practices. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the quality and governance of PP&C-owned templates, guidance documents, online resources (Procurement Information) as well as communication and support to PP&C and business stakeholders.
You will also play a key role in identifying and implementing process and documentation improvements to enhance procurement practices, procedures, and tools, thereby strengthening business resilience. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the PP&C Library and Document repository SharePoint, ensuring that PP&C team members are aware of how to access and utilize various procurement tools, systems, and portals effectively. You will provide proactive support to senior peers in the co-ordination of projects/reporting and insights related to policy, process or supplier risk to drive team success.
ABOUT YOU
Prior experience in procurement, either in a category management, supplier or contract management, or sourcing management role.
Advanced knowledge of Source to Contract (S2C), Purchase to Pay (P2P), Supplier Risk assessment, Supplier contract management, and lifecycle management systems (such as SAP-ARIBA/FIELDGLASS, COUPA, ZYCUS, Service Now, or equivalents).
Proven track record in project coordination, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
Excellent analytical as well as verbal and written communications skills.
Strong background in Microsoft Office suite (incl SharePoint and Forms)
Exposure to or eagerness to learn about all facets of procurement functions.
Familiarity with the principles of master data management.
Understanding of risk management principles.
Familiarity with sustainable and ethical procurement practices.
