People and Culture Business Partner

**About the role - Full-time, permanent**

The People and Culture Business Partner plays an important role in assisting your portfolio in a range of human resource management responsibilities by interpreting HR policies and employment legislation and advises, coaches and supports leaders on people management matters. You will build collaborative partnerships across the organisation, deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organisation.
- Your responsibilities will also include:_
- Be a trusted business partner and provide operational human resources advice across all elements of the employment lifecycle to promote the achievement of key business objectives
- Provision of advice on employment policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
- Develop, nurture and enable a results-oriented value driven organisational culture to successfully engage with staff across all levels of the organisation to support the delivery of the Strategic Plan
- Coach and mentor leaders on all levels of the organisation in the ability to lead individuals and teams
- Correctly interpret relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements to assist managers, team leaders, coordinators, and staff

Your portfolio will support our Care Pathways teams who provide care and support to young people aged between five and 18 who require 24/7 care away from their families, or who arrive in Australia without a legal guardian. Many of these young people have disabilities and mental health challenges, requiring therapeutic support and ongoing care to lead a happy, healthy life.

**About you**:
As an experienced P&C Business Partner you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within complex, multi-site environments. You are people-centred and value building lasting relationships with stakeholders of varying levels, priding yourself on delivering positive outcomes for our people. Prior experience in community services is highly advantageous, but not essential. A solutions-focused, proactive, and dynamic manner will see you land on your feet quickly in the role. Your work week will vary basing yourself in our Wayville office, with travel as required to meet with our internal stakeholders and staff across Adelaide.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

- Degree or Post Graduate qualification in Human Resources or relevant extensive experience within a HR Business Partner role
- Sound knowledge of Industrial Relations and Contemporary Human Resource practices
- Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships with key stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet required deadlines

- Full unrestricted South Australia Driver’s Licence
- DHS Child-Related Employment Screening or Working With Children check

- Travel within SA Metropolitan area to visit portfolio groups as required.
