**About the role - Permanent, minimum 30 hours per week, flexible days/hours**
The People and Culture Business Partner plays an important role in assisting the business across a range of people and culture activity. Utilising contemporary practice and working with a specific portfolio, you will advise, coach and support leaders on all people management matters. You will also build collaborative partnerships across the organisation and deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organisation.
- Your responsibilities will also include:_
- Be a trusted business partner and provide operational human resources advice across all elements of the employment lifecycle to promote the achievement of key business objectives
- Develop, nurture and enable a results-oriented value driven organisational culture to successfully engage with staff across all levels of the organisation to support the delivery of the Strategic Plan
- Coach and mentor leaders at all levels of the organisation in the ability to lead individuals and teams
- Develop and provide advice on employment policies and procedures
- Correctly interpret relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements to assist managers, team leaders, coordinators, and staff
You will have variety in your portfolio providing support to corporate services, business development and mission, and community pathways. These services play a crucial part within the organisation contributing to our fundraising and chaplaincy, as well as essential support to the homeless, disadvantaged youth and families and their wellbeing.
**About you**:
As an experienced P&C Business Partner you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within complex, multi-site environments. You are people-centred and value building lasting relationships with stakeholders of varying levels, priding yourself on delivering positive outcomes for our people. A solutions-focussed, proactive, and dynamic manner will see you land on your feet quickly in the role. Your work week will vary basing yourself in our Wayville office, with travel as required to meet with our internal stakeholders and staff across Adelaide.
- You will also have the following skills and experience:_
- Degree or Post Graduate qualification in Human Resources or relevant extensive experience within a HR Business Partner role
- Sound knowledge of Industrial Relations and Contemporary Human Resource practices
- Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships with key stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet required deadlines

- Full unrestricted South Australia Driver’s Licence
- DHS Child-Related Employment Screening or Working With Children check
- National Police Clearance
- Safe Environments for Children and Young People (or willingness to obtain)
- Travel within SA Metropolitan area to visit portfolio groups as required.
