**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This is a new role on a max-term 12-month contract. Reporting to the Supervisor, EHS&T, the role will be accountable for developing and implementing and ensuring appropriate certification of all Contractors required to perform work on site meet our Contractor Management Standard required as part of our Total Safety Management System.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Develop and implement our Contractor Pre-qualification process and tools
- Lead the development and implementation of a document control system to manage contractor records and data. This includes review and updating of all related standards and policies
- Participate in Contractor significant incident investigations as required
- Audit and report on Contractor management performance against Standards
- Assist sites with onboarding Contractors for safety sensitive work
- Foster a psychologically safe work environment
**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Must have a minimum Certificate IV/Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- Demonstrated experience understanding contractor environmental aspects and impacts at site level also advantageous.
- Quality management system / lead auditing skills desirable
- Comfort in developing and fostering appropriate relationships using an interest-based communication style.
- Capability to exchange ideas and information effectively using tact and diplomacy when dealing with others.
- Good working knowledge of Work Management and Supply Chain considered an asset
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated capability to understand and manage business requirements and risk effectively.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills:
- Present with control including in the facilitation of discussions and confidently express ideas and insights when appropriate.
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Build trust in relationships.
- Influence, negotiate and facilitate buy-in with a variety of stakeholders across functions, including senior leadership.

- Valid Police clearance
