**The role**

Come and join the team where we are leading the industry in driving our award winning 'Better Together' model, raising the quality of living in our Aged Cares and Retirement Villages. We are currently looking for a **Maintenance Officer** to join the friendly team at Willandra Village and Bungalows in Cromer, NSWon a **Full-Time **basis.

As the Maintenance Officeryou will provide a support service that enhances our customer’s wellbeing in their home.

**What you will be doing**
- Providing a range of general maintenance and building maintenance duties - this may include painting, lighting maintenance, gutters, air conditioning, tiling, basic plumbing and other general repairs
- Delivering a high level of service to residents, visitors, contractors, and staff
- Maintenance of the shared spaces, ensuring a high standard of presentation
- Working within health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff, reporting hazards where appropriate

**About you**
- Previous maintenance experience. No qualification required however must be able to do tasks such as installing a dishwasher, changing lights, unblocking drains, gurney pathways etc.
- Previous experience in a Retirement Community, Aged Care, or hotel environment advantageous
- A service, solution, and preventative approach with strong customer service skills
- Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft suite and asset management/ordering systems
- Fully vaccinated for Influenza and COVID 19 (2 Doses)

Pay: From $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
