The Gardenmakers Pty Ltd is a long established landscape construction company based at Cromer on Sydney's northern beaches. We are currently seeking a skilled accounts and administration person to process our Payroll carry out a range of office administration duties. This position would suit a local person. Hours over 4 or 5 days a week. Negotiable to suit a preferred applicant
**Your Role**
You will be responsible for:
- Process end to end weekly payroll
- Payment of PAYG, superannuation and Workers Compensation
- End of month reconciliations
- Interpretation of NES and Awards.
- Responding to staff inquiries and resolving payroll issues in a timely manner
- Assisting Directors with administration functions
- Some reception and phone answering duties
**Your Experience and skills**
It is essential that you have:
- MYOB experience/certification
- High proficiency and accuracy in data entry
- Microsoft Office competency
In addition our preferred applicant possesses:
- Experience with Single touch payroll
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work as part of a harmonious team
- Proven initiative and problem solving abilities
- Positive attitude
- Ability to prioritise
- Collaborative approach to work in a small office of 10 people
The Gardenmakers carry out design, construction and maintenance of landscape projects generally in the Sydney metro area and currently maintain a staff of around 50 workers. We provide a flexible and family friendly workplace.
Immediate start available and full training provided on the bespoke timesheet system in place.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 32-40 per week
**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
