**The Role**

As a Training Developer, you will identify client needs; and from that, design and develop interventions that produce viable outcomes from client concepts. To do this, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team in the design and development of Learning Packages for clients.

This is a challenging role, which will require you to be an autonomous, high-performing self-starter, who offers established training development experience and skills.

**Responsibilities**

To be successful in this role, you will be able to:

- develop Defence LMPs in consultation with key Navy clients (knowledge and/or experience in LMPSS desirable but not essential)
- plan and execute the analysis, design and/or development of a complete learning package across multiple delivery methods (eLearning, instructor led etc.), in accordance with SADL requirements
- manage content and/or document review cycles
- produce materials within timeframes aligned with project schedules

**Requirements**:
In order to meet the requirements of the role, you will possess:

- 3+ years in a learning and development environment, conducting training analysis, design, development and evaluation activities
- a well-developed knowledge of adult learning theories and principles in the context of capability development (vocational or tertiary qualifications in adult education, L&D or similar fields are desirable, not essential)
- strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work autonomously with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- well-developed verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- experience working with/in government and/or Defence
- Australian Citizenship and either hold (preferable) or be able to obtain an Australian Defence security clearance.
