The Program Leader plays a pivotal role in driving large-scale strategic program for a financial service at AWS. This dynamic individual will work alongside a technical lead and project manager to manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver tangible business value through the implementation of innovative transformation initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
**Program Execution and Delivery**:
- Motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration across different departments and stakeholder groups
- Oversee the execution of program initiatives, monitoring progress against established timelines and budgets
- Identify and address potential risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact program success
- Implement robust change management processes to facilitate smooth adoption of new processes, systems, or organizational structures
- Establish and monitor program success metrics, ensuring alignment with desired business outcomes and value creation
**Stakeholder Management and Communication**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership, program sponsors, and key stakeholders
- Communicate program status, progress, and achievements through regular reporting and presentations
- Facilitate effective decision-making by providing insights, analysis, and recommendations based on program data and industry best practices
- Manage stakeholder expectations, address concerns, and resolve conflicts arising during program execution
**Partner and Business Development**:
- Work with key partners to create compelling commercial propositions for large enterprise migrations to AWS
- Drive pipeline, new revenue growth, and increased market adoption of AWS services
- Expand partners' AWS migration practices through strategic collaboration and enablement
