- Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Distributors, Sales, Product Marketing and APAC SC team to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information are used for demand forecasts.
- Collect 12 months rolling forecast for all retailers and do an analysis for the following, but not limited to:
- New PO’s to support sales forecast demand
- Amend PO’s in terms of delivery times lines
- Cancellation of PO’s if needed
- Sales forecast follows the NPI / EOL roadmap as advised by the product manager.
- All open PO’s in the APAC backorder report has future “requested delivery date”.
- Lead the S&OP meetings in area of demand planning and inventory management to drive alignment with key stakeholders to one single operating plan.
- Update files with latest data for S&OP meetings a day prior to meeting and share with all stakeholders.
- Review / record previous month’s forecast vs actuals and study the impact on inventory and adjust accordingly to avoid stock shortage and aging.
- Validate Distributors PO’s / APAC backorder report invoice price to the distributors matches the APAC price book.
- Collaborate with product manager to work on NPI’s / EOL to reflect in forecast templates and assist where needed to collate information to have new SKUs created at the distributors.
- Optimize product availability within budgeted inventory targets through effective end-to-end management of supply chain.
- Establish and maintain on-going and effective communication with sales managers and management.
- Distribution of weekly and monthly reporting to Sales, and Management teams.
- Refined systems and methods to continually improve forecasts so that the company can better anticipate customer needs.
