Restaurant Supervisor

The Grounds is seeking a brilliant and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to lead an established team as we continue to grow and expand our business

We are looking for a leader with management experience to help focus on creating amazing and unique experiences for our guests whilst exceeding and pushing revenue targets. Our Restaurant Supervisors provide essential support to the business and are the face of the company, leading us with passion and pride in The Grounds brand.

Primary Functions

This role requires someone who is self-motivated and can motivate others. Someone who is results-oriented, mature & professional with a high level of creativity, innovation & driven to create memorable experiences for each & every guest.
- A motivated and driven manager who likes to lead from the front line - this is a ‘hands-on’ role
- Supervise the floor to ensure The Grounds standards and steps of service are met through all guests interactions
- Self-motivated, energetic individual who thrives on making the guest experience the best it can be
- Ensure that checklists, and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to staff
- Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary
- Confident communicator with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy volume periods, serving as a role model to staff and other Grounds employees
- Thrives in and encourages a fun, collaborative culture and pushes for success
- Confident in interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, and disciplining (where appropriate) Front of house staff
- Ensure staffing levels are accurate based on business needs
- Interact positively with all customers promoting The Grounds facilities and services. Resolve problems to the satisfaction of involved parties.
- Maintain rapport with all departments and attend relevant meetings
- Maintain cleanliness of venue on a daily basis
- Solicit feedback from guests concerning the service and food & beverage offerings
- Ensure all daily and monthly reports are detailed and submitted in a timely manner
