We are seeking an experienced **Administrative Officer** to join our team in a permanent full-time position.
As part of the Development Assessment and Compliance team, this role will put to use your administration experience to ensure a high level of customer service to the team and our internal and external clients.
The position requires excellent organisation skills and an ability to prioritise a busy workload and manage conflicting tasks. You will have advanced attention to detail and excellent communication skills in order to build strong relationships and collaborations with our stakeholders.

- TAFE certificate studies or equivalent
- competence in Microsoft office suite and record management and finance systems
- competence in a range of administrative support activities

**Essential**:
1. TAFE certificate studies or equivalent.
2. Demonstrated competence in the use of word processing in the Windows environment including a high level of competence in the operation of Microsoft Word, the Microsoft Office package, Council's Record Management System, Proclaim and Finance 1.
3. Demonstrated competence in a wide range of administrative support activities to a range of professional officers.
4. Demonstrated well developed written and verbal communication skills.
5. Demonstrated capacity to manage workloads and competing priorities effectively.
6. Demonstrated capacity to work within a team environment.
7. Demonstrated meeting procedure skills.
8. Demonstrated ability to actively participate in the Division's administrative support team.
**Desirable**:
9. Demonstrated competence in secretarial support at senior management level.
