Quality Control Advisor

**About the Role**

We are looking for a Quality Control Advisor to play a key role in our Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System Contract (EDHFCS). Babcock has taken the lead in managing and advancing the Defence High Frequency (HF) Communications capability across multiple sites in Australia

This position plays a pivotal role in overseeing quality control efforts throughout the project's lifecycle. Responsibilities include analysing and endorsing inspection and test plans, as well as reviewing quality documentation and objective quality evidence (OQE) to ensure adherence to contract requirements.

You'll engage with repair agents during maintenance tasks to uphold compliance with task requirements and contractual obligations. Additionally, you'll contribute to refining the OQE review process to align with business needs and client expectations, offering guidance and assistance to project teams on quality-related matters.

**To be successful, you will bring**:

- Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance.
- Demonstrated experience in a Quality and/or similar position.
- Experience in a maintenance/construction sub-contractor management environment.
- Sound knowledge of business management system standard ISO 9001
- Proven ability to collate, analyse and present data.
- Engineering qualification in Mechanical or Electrical (Desirable).
