CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator

Southern Engineering is seeking a CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join our team at our Keswick workshop.

Southern Engineering is a parts manufacturing company that supplies laser cut and folded parts to a broad range of manufacturing companies.

Reporting to the Production Co-Ordinator, the role will be responsible for:

- Running our CNC laser cutting machine from plans provided.
- Running our sheet metal CNC brake press machine when required.
- Loading material and Unloading parts.
- Sorting and checking off parts.
- Parts cleanup and Sanding.
- Controlling sheet metal stock and consumables.
- Loading and unloading of trucks.
- General maintenance of the machines.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

To be considered for this position you will need to possess the following Pre-requisites:

- Current driver's license.
- Forklift license.
- Sheet metal experience is an advantage.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Keswick, SA 5035: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
