Primary Purpose:

This position is the primary management position for the acquisition and disposal of land, efficient and effective control, management and maintenance of physical assets and the provision of related services to the Emergency Services Sector (ESS), including the South Australian Country Fire Service (CFS), South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS), South Australian State Emergency Service (SES) and South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission (SAFECOM).

The role will:

  • Provide a full range of property related services including negotiation, co-ordination and securing of various forms of property/tenure.
  • Provide advice regarding the acquisition of property/tenure, retention and disposal.
  • Provide advice regarding contracts for the purchase of property and the long term leasing of land for emergency services stations.
  • Research and provide detailed reports on the current legal tenure and status of land.
  • Support and assist the emergency services sector in the effective and efficient daily control and management of physical assets.
